Can guinea pigs eat cauliflower?

Cauliflower is part of the brussica family with a large white flower head that is grown and used in lots of dishes. It is great for people but can guinea pigs eat cauliflowers?!

Yes

However, it has renowned for making guinea pigs gassy so feed in tiny bits once or twice a week. They can have both the leaves and head. Remember that you must never feed cooked or frozen food to your guinea pig and it must be supplemented with hay and pellets.

    Emma,
It is good to know that in small quantities that Cauliflower is OK for your Guinea pig. What kind of nutritional value does it have. Does your Guinea pig like the leaves or chewing on the flower for texture.

      Hi John
Cauliflower is very good for people but I cannot say for guinea pigs 🙂 They are all different and like different things, some may like it and some may not. 😉
