I confess I didn’t actually know what bean sprouts were! So when I looked them up, I also wondered: can guinea pigs eat beansprouts?!

Yes they can!

In fact, bean sprouts have a good amount of vitamin c in them, but they should only be eaten 1-2 times a week in moderate amounts.

In fact, you could grow your own! They are very easy to grow! All you need are some beans, a container with water and a dark place. Place the beans in a container full of water.  They should take four to five days to finish sprouting and be ready for use.
