Can guinea pigs eat bananas?

can-guinea-pigs-eat-bananasThis is probably one of the fruits with a high amount of uses! You think of fried bananas, milkshakes, chips and cake- but can guinea pigs eat bananas?

Yes but watch out!🍌

Bananas are also very high in sugar, potassium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin a and protein. They are also very low in vitamin c which is not a good thing. Too much banana could cause an upset stomach and constipation, so feed sparingly once a month. The peel should be a rare treat.

What an informative page and very interesting articles you’ve written. I really can see that the love for these tiny beautiful furry creatures is forever! Thank you, I think that there be much more websites for these tiny animals because sometimes people make impuls decisions to buy these little furry friends and when they bored of them they think they can easily put them away! It’s so important to handle also little tiny animals with much respect and love!
